About Us
For centuries, traditional home-cooked recipes have been
passed along in our family from one generation to the next.
We’ve updated these recipes, using fresh ingredient
combinations and cooking techniques while maintaining the
traditional flavors.
Finfiné is the source of the freshest and purest
spring water in Addis Ababa (the capital city of Ethiopia).
Our goal is to combine a fresh approach to Ethiopian cuisine
with the tradition of our family recipes. Just like Finfiné
is the source of the freshest water, we strive to be the
source of the freshest Ethiopian cuisine.
Finfiné Ethiopian Restaurant is located near the
University of California-Berkeley at 2556 Telegraph Avenue,
Berkeley's popular thoroughfare. It’s a wonderful place to
get a dose of the city's famed counterculture, shops and
street vendors.
